Activities

Palamidi
Palamidi is a fortress in Nafplio, Greece, which was built in 1687 by the Venetians, after capturing the hill on which it is located, after a fierce battle with the Ottomans during the Venetian-Turkish War. The hill on which it is located is 216 meters high and the ascent to Palamidi is done either via a carriage road or via a staircase with many steps (known as 999 steps, while in reality there are 857 steps).

Archaeological Museum of Nafplio
The Archaeological Museum of Nafplio has been housed since the early 1930s in the imposing Venetian three-story building that borders the western side of Syntagma Square. It is one of the most beautiful and best preserved monuments of the Venetian era in Greece. The building was built in 1713, during the Second Venetian period, by the Fleet Commander Augustinos Sagredos to be used as a fleet warehouse, according to the marble inscription embedded in its facade.

Bourtzi
Thalassopyrgos, known to the Venetians and Bourtzi to the Turks, as it is better known, is a small islet in front of the port of Nafplio, directly opposite the coastal gun emplacement of the “Five Brothers”, completely covered by an old Venetian Fortress to which it owes its name.
Our accommodation offers unique hospitality in one of the most charming cities in Greece, combining traditional architecture with modern amenities.
